Job Summary

Responsible for all the business development initiatives and resources of the organization and also overseeing the performance of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through networking, market research, and cold calling.

 Product Expertise and Sales Presentations:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the fintech product suite, including features, benefits, and competitive landscape.
  • Articulate the value proposition of the fintech solutions to address specific client pain points and business objectives.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, tailoring the pitch to their needs.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Understand customer requirements and proactively provide solutions to meet their evolving needs.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation and closing deals.

 Sales Strategy and Forecasting:

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue potential
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and identify areas for improvement
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product development, marketing, legal, and customer support teams to ensure smooth sales process and client onboarding.
  • Provide valuable customer feedback to internal teams to inform product development and strategy

Industry Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including banking regulations, payment systems, and digital trends.

 Fintech Knowledge:

  • Deep knowledge of various fintech solutions like digital payments, lending platforms, wealth management tools, and blockchain technology.

Sales Acumen:

  • Proven track record of success in complex B2B sales, particularly in the technology sector.

 Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Relationship Building:

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through trust and rapport.

 Negotiation Skills:

  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (a Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 – 8 years cognate experience in sales/relationship management in a financial institution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent team member and leader.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be passionate about service quality.
  • Excellent sales coaching skills
  • Must be computer literate able to tender good reports.
